General Design Information:

Designing for large-format is simple if you follow a few basic rules and some guidelines for using our equipment that will get you the sharpest images and the most accurate color.

First of all, we support both the RGB and CMYK color space (see “Color” above for more details) and the software listed in the links above (see those links for specific prep instructions). Our production staff will work with you to get the best results possible using those packages.

There are three primary things to remember when designing for large format:

  • All images should be at 180 dpi. at finished printed size or greater for best results.
  • All images should be in their native RGB or CMYK format.
  • Remember to include all links and fonts when sending files.

If color matching is important to you, you can specify Pantone colors in your job and then make note of them in the special instructions section of the order form. And finally, you can send us a hard copy of the file for us to match to.

Each program has its own requirements. Please review those links for more detailed information.

Thanks for choosing!

A Note on Logo Graphics:

We require Vector-based graphics for our table throws. Click here to download the Definitive Guide to Vector Graphics. Many common file formats for vector are EPS, Illustrator, or Acrobat files. We can accept TIFF, JPEG, Photoshop Files, Bitmap, or GIF files, but we will have to charge a design fee to recreate them as Vector-Based graphics.

You cannot simply open a Bitmap file in a program and save it as an EPS, Illustrator or other file type that works for us. It does not automatically convert it to a vector graphic. If you’re not sure what you have, send it to us, and our production department will review it.
