PosterGarden's PBA Green Hour Spreads the Green Word

PosterGarden hosted a successful Portland Business Alliance Green Hour event on Thursday, July 25.

The event brought together PBA members for an early evening of appetizers, wine and sustainability. For the latter, PosterGarden's national project manager, Rod Carlson, gave a presentation outlining some of the company's sustainable products and processes. Among those: PosterGarden's use of environmentally-friendly graphic media and a UV curable printing process, which produces lower levels of volatile organic compounds than other printing methods.

Also speaking during the event and keeping everything running smoothly was Brett Palmquist, a financial advisor with Wells Fargo. PosterGarden President Travis Rigby (below left) and Vice President of Operations Mike Rigby (below right) also enjoyed the Green Hour.

Other highlights from the night included some great networking, wine and food, and a couple PosterGarden Portland Parks and Gardens Trekking Pole giveaways.

The PBA's next Green Hour will be held on Aug. 15 at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, but here are a few more images from the PosterGarden event. (All images by PosterGarden's Production Manger, David Deitering.)
