Photoshop was created for images. These images were meant to be imported and placed into InDesign, PageMaker, or Quark.

However, many designers want to use Photoshop as a page layout program. To do this, or to create files that will be placed in other programs, follow these simple guidelines:

  • Color: Go to “Edit>Color Settings...” and turn color management off.
  • Design: Our templates make it simple. Just follow the basic guide lines included with each template and your design will be a success. There is a PDF file for all the page size and guide lines information.  Make sure files are 180 dpi at finished size. See ‘Resolution’ above for more help on this.  You can find all templates on each of our products' web pages.
