We do that in myriad ways, from recycling our scrap paper to supporting local art institutions that help keep the community thriving. By putting our core values – creativity, simplicity, innovation, integrity and systems – to work both inside and outside our business, we believe we’re making a valuable contribution to the community as a whole.
Philanthropy
PosterGarden is a proud supporter of not only the local business community, but the local art scene as well. We support local artists by hosting monthly First Thursday art events and by showing local artwork on a monthly basis in our showroom gallery. In addition, PosterGarden makes in-kind donations every year to artistic organizations that embody our core values. Past beneficiaries have included Oregon Ballet Theater, Portland Center Stage, Portland Children’s Museum, Portland Symphonic Choir, Milagro Theater, and Portland Taiko.
At PosterGarden, we also support our employees in their involvement with philanthropic organizations that have core values similar to ours.
Involvement
Keeping active in industry organizations is just as important to a business’ success as its involvement in community groups that support local organizational and improvement efforts. PosterGarden is currently involved in a host of organizations, including Travel Portland, the Portland Advertising Federation, the Pearl District Business Association and the American Marketing Association.
